![]() For starters, the fun facts that are presented between stages are a nice touch whether you're learning about actual sea life or being introduced to some handy tips. □Īnother aspect that I appreciate about Feeding Frenzy is its extras. Things may start out simply enough but as it all ramps up and you do things like snag pearls from oysters, dodge incoming barracudas, collect speed boosts, avoid unpredictable sharks, gain the ability to suck fish towards you, stun enemies with a power-up, and try not to get poisoned you'll be impressed with how complex it becomes over time. It may be a simple game but whenever I play it, I get hooked! □ Feeding Frenzy gameplay video →Īs you progress through Feeding Frenzy's many stages, you'll encounter loads of new mechanics and it all adds up to one satisfying campaign with a superb difficulty curve. Thankfully, there's a dash button if you need to quickly get out of the way and there are also nifty scoring mechanics that will reward you for how efficiently you play. However, if you come in contact with a fish that's bigger than you then you'll get eaten so the gameplay is all about swimming around carefully. ![]() Specifically, Feeding Frenzy has you play as a little fish and it's your goal to eat fish that are smaller than you until you grow bigger and can then eat larger fish. Although I had great fun with all of these games, I especially remember Feeding Frenzy due to its unique dodge 'em up gameplay and clever premise. One way that I accomplished this was purchasing a lot of compilations which were actually less pricy than buying the individual games and a couple of my favourite collections were the 2 PopCap Arcade volumes which feature games such as Bejeweled 2 Deluxe, AstroPop, Zuma Deluxe, Peggle, and Heavy Weapon: Atomic Tank. I got an Xbox 360 a few years after it debuted and remember having a blast catching up on all of the Xbox Live Arcade games that I've been missing out on. │ Feeding Frenzy is available with an EA Play membership (included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate).
